History of Oxford Medistress

2005

Company founded by University of Oxford following collaboration between Prof David Macdonald CBE, DSc, FRSE (University of Oxford), Oxford University’s first Professor of Wildlife Conservation, and Dr Rubina Mian (PhD Birmingham University; BSc (hons.) Liverpool University). The team is steered by Dr David Sarphie (D Phil. University of Oxford, BSc University of Notre Dame) who is a founding investor and director. The world class credentials of the team soon ignites interest from leading blue chip companies.

2006

Early forward thinking commercial blue chip adopters include Jaguar Cars, a leading Premiership Football Team, and (latterly) AstraZeneca.

2007

Launch of CopingCapacity Elite-Pro™ to optimise wellness in elite athletes

2007

Launch of CopingCapacity Vet™ for use in animals, including companion animals, farmed animals and endangered species.

2008

First revenues from product sales, with clients including the Amateur Swimming Association (UK), a leading Premiership Football Team, and AstraZeneca.

Oxford MediStress makes initial entry into Formula 1 Motor Racing with a prominent F1 Team

Independent clinical study validates Oxford MediStress’ LCC™ technology as being more sensitive than cortisol for measurement of acute stress.
